B. Academic School proudly celebrated the 8th Installation Ceremony of its Interact Club, an initiative sponsored by the Rotary Club of Calcutta Victoria. This significant event highlighted the school’s commitment to fostering leadership, community service, and personal development among its students.
The school was honored to have Rotarian Krishnendu Gupta, the District Governor of Rotary District, as the Chief Guest for the ceremony. His presence, along with other distinguished Rotarians, underscored the importance of the occasion and the strong partnership between the school and the Rotary Club. Their support has been instrumental in guiding and mentoring the young leaders of the Interact Club.
A new committee was formed during the ceremony to lead the Interact Club in its various initiatives. Shirsha Banerjee was appointed as the President of the club, with Antara Dey taking on the role of Vice President. The responsibilities of Secretary were entrusted to Ruprekha Das, while Asmita Bhattacharya was named Treasurer. Ashmita Bacharach was appointed as the MHA. These students have demonstrated dedication and leadership skills that will guide the club's future projects and endeavors.
The school principal, Mrs Madhuparna Andrews, had the honor of officially installing the new committee members by presenting them with their badges. This symbolic gesture marked the beginning of their journey in these esteemed roles and their commitment to upholding the values of the Interact Club. The principal also congratulated the newly elected office bearers and encouraged them to lead with integrity and a spirit of service.
The event concluded with inspiring remarks from the Chief Guest and other Rotarian dignitaries, who encouraged the newly appointed leaders to continue the tradition of service, compassion, and community involvement.
