PBAS students win the prestigious “Pratibha Samman Award

Self-belief and hard work will always earn you success

“Prabhat Khabar” is a leading Hindi language newspaper published daily . Every year the newspaper tabloid honours the meritorious students with the “Pratibha Samman Award” all across West Bengal for their efforts and dedication in the field of Education. The students are selected on the basis of their academic performance in the 10+2 levels.

This year 14 students from P.B. Academic School were bestowed with this prestigious award for their outstanding results in the ICSE and ISC Examinations 2023. Arkadeep Mondal, Roshan Kumar Singh, Eshagni Ghosh, Rupsa Dutt and Astha Singh received in their certificates, medals and gift hampers in the award ceremony held in the National Library on 1st July 2023.

PBAS congratulates all the winners and we are sure that they will continue making their Alma Mater proud in all their future endeavours.

Krittika Das shines as Best Speaker in Elocution Competition

In a remarkable display of oratory prowess, Krittika Das emerged as the Best Speaker and also the winner in the fiercely competitive elocution Euro Eloquence competition organised by Euro School, Thane on 25th August 2023. The event which was held in an online platform brought together young talents from schools across the country and few from abroad, witnessed Krittika’s eloquence and confidence steal the limelight.

Krittika spoke on Greta Thurnburg’s UN Speech, the speech that resonated with both the judges and the audience. She not only captivated the audience but also left the judges in awe with her impeccable delivery to emerge as the winner amongst 74 participants.

The PBAS family congratulates her on this impressive achievement and wishes her luck in her future endeavors.

INDIAN MUSEUM

A Teacher’s Day Felicitation Programme was held on 5th September 2023 at the Indian Museum Auditorium. The programme was organised by the Indian Museum, Kolkata, Ministry of Culture, Government of India in collaboration with B. D Memorial Institute.

The programme was a heartfelt tribute to the dedicated educators who have shaped the lives of countless students.

Two teachers from the institution Mrs J. D. Bhaumik and Mrs S. D Ray attended the programme along with the school Principal, Mrs Madhuparna Andrews.

Camelia Saha Das, our school PR, also received a trophy and a certificate.

To add a touch of entertainment, our students put up a dance performance on the theme of “Shakti” which was widely appreciated.

The event left a lasting impression on all attendees. It served as a powerful reminder of the pivotal role teachers play in shaping the future and reinforced the importance of recognising and appreciating their contributions.
