P. B. Academic School hosted an Inter-House Chess Competition for junior students from classes 3 to 5 on 19th November 2024. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students representing four houses: Gandhi, Subhash, Tagore, and Teresa. The competition showcased the strategic thinking and competitive spirit of the young participants.
Gandhi House emerged victorious, demonstrating exceptional chess skills and teamwork. Subhash House secured the second position, displaying impressive strategic play, while Tagore House claimed the third spot, showcasing remarkable talent and sportsmanship. Teresa House finished fourth, showing potential and determination. The participants exhibited critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and excellent sportsmanship.
The School Principal praised the students for their passion and skill, emphasising that the competition fosters critical thinking, focus, and teamwork. The event provided a valuable platform for junior students to showcase their talents and develop essential life skills. P.
