Three years of hosting greatness – P.B. Academic School continued to be the epicenter of CISCE Karate Tournament glory! On the 5th and 6th of July 2024, we hosted the CISCE Regional Karate Competition, organized by CISCE West Bengal and North-East Region. We were honored to welcome our distinguished guests: Hanshi Premjit Sen, President of the Karate Do Association of Bengal; Hanshi Joydeb Mondal, General Secretary of the Karate Do Association of Bengal; Mr. Sailesh Pandey, Games and Sports Coordinator of CISCE Regional Games and Sports; Sensei Lalit Kumar Shaw, President and Chief Technical Director of Calcutta Karate Club; and Dhiman Ghosh, Sports Coordinator of Ratnakar North Point School.

P. B. Academic School marked a memorable Father’s Day celebration on 29th June 2024, bringing together fathers and their children for a day filled with joy and bonding activities. The event aimed to honor the significant role fathers play in their children’s lives and to create cherished memories for families.
As the fathers arrived, they were warmly welcomed and adorned with specially crafted badges, symbolizing their importance and the school’s appreciation for their dedication and love. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as the fathers and children eagerly anticipated the activities planned for the day.
The celebration kicked off with a series of engaging games designed to foster teamwork and fun between fathers and their children. One of the highlights was the tie and card-making activity, where fathers and their kids got creative together, designing unique ties and cards as mementos of the day. The laughter and creativity in the room were palpable as each duo proudly showcased their creations.
Another thrilling activity was the “passing through hula hoop” game, where fathers and children worked together to navigate through a series of hula hoops without breaking the chain. The game was met with enthusiasm and cheers, as it not only tested their coordination but also brought out their competitive spirits in a fun and light-hearted manner.
To conclude the event, prizes were awarded to participants, adding an extra layer of excitement and recognition for their efforts. The joy and pride on the faces of both the fathers and their children were evident as they received their prizes, making the celebration even more memorable.
Overall, the Father’s Day celebration at P. B. Academic School was a resounding success, characterized by laughter, creativity, and a deep sense of connection. The school looks forward to continuing such heartwarming traditions that strengthen family bonds and create lasting memories.

Classes I & II enjoyed their healthy Non-Fire cooking activity as part of their NEP activity. They could relate to the topic ‘Food we Eat’ they are now learning in E.V.S. 
Class I made Bread Pizza and class II children enjoyed whipping up a tasty and healthy Fruit Salad. In the process, they learnt about the healthy benefits of the different food items. Thus, this activity contributed to holistic development by integrating hands-on experiences with academic and practical knowledge.

Congratulations to Romi Dutta, who attended the Ram Avatar Gupta Pratibha Puraskar organized by Sanmarg at G.D. Birla Sabhagar.
She was awarded as one of the best teachers for her active participation in upholding the Hindi language and encouraging students.

PBAS celebrates 2024 International Yoga Day.

PB Academic Interact Club received the second prize in the category of Literacy for underprivileged children. Congratulations!

P.B. Academic has recently been recognized for its outstanding accomplishments, with students excelling in several prestigious competitions, including the Spell-a-thon, Silverzone Olympiad, and SOF Olympiad at the zonal stage.

Our dedicated and talented students have demonstrated remarkable prowess in these competitive arenas, showcasing their academic excellence and commitment to success. The Spell-a-thon saw our students spell their way to victory with impeccable accuracy and composure. In the Silverzone Olympiad, they exhibited their profound knowledge and analytical skills across various subjects, securing top positions. The SOF Olympiad further highlighted their exceptional intellectual capabilities, as they outperformed their peers on a zonal level.

These achievements are a testament to the hard work and perseverance of our students, as well as the unwavering support and guidance from our esteemed faculty. We are immensely proud of their accomplishments and are confident that this is just the beginning of their illustrious academic journey.

P B Academic School Hosts Successful Summer Camp for Young Students

P B Academic School organized an engaging and vibrant summer camp for students from Nursery to
Class V from 15th May 2024 to 17th May 2024.Held within the school premises, the camp featured a
variety of activities designed to foster creativity, physical fitness, and fun among the young participants.

The students enthusiastically participated in gymnastics, honing their flexibility and coordination under
the guidance of experienced instructors. Clay modelling sessions allowed the children to explore their
artistic talents, shaping their imaginations into tangible creations. Additionally, the western dance
classes were a hit, with students learning energetic dance routines and enjoying the rhythm and
movement.

The camp concluded with a special ceremony where the school principal, Madhuparna Andrews,
awarded certificates and exciting prizes to the students. This recognition not only celebrated their
participation but also encouraged them to pursue their interests with confidence and enthusiasm. The
summer camp was a resounding success, leaving the students with wonderful memories and a sense of
achievement.

PBAS hosted a pool party for its Pre primary children. The children enjoyed splashing water at their friends and dancing in the pool to the beats of peppy music. This event set the ball rolling for the sun, sea, and sand activities which has been planned for the upcoming week.

On the 24th of April, 2024, P B Academic School gleamed with jubilant celebrations as it honoured the birthday of its esteemed founder, Shri Purushottam Kumar Bhagchanda. The occasion was graced by numerous distinguished guests, adding to the festive aura of the day.

The festivities commenced with a mesmerizing performance by the school choir, filling the air with melodious tunes that resonated through the halls. Following this enchanting start, a captivating Hindi recitation from the Mahabharata enthralled the audience, transporting them into the epic’s legendary tales.

The pinnacle of the event was a spectacular dual performance, seamlessly blending karate and dance, showcasing the theme of women  empowerment.

To add a new dimension to the event,Mrs. Madhuparna Andrews, the esteemed school principal, took the stage to recognize and honour the dedicated service of the teachers and staff. With heartfelt gratitude, she presented special honors to these exemplary individuals, acknowledging their unwavering commitment in various fields.

The Founder’s Day celebration at P B Academic School was not merely an event; it was a heartfelt tribute to the vision and legacy of Shri Purushottam Kumar Bhagchanda. Through music, dance, and recognition of outstanding contributions, the school reaffirmed its commitment to academic excellence and the empowerment of its community.
