The South City International School, had organized one of the most awaited and exciting fest- Morpheus 2020 (Shaping dreams) starting from 12th to 16th October. It was a great opportunity for our students to unearth their multi-faceted talents.

There were many events conducted offline and online. Individual effort, teamwork and creative thinking came in for appreciation as our school students showed their courage to come out of their comfort zones and participate in almost all the events. Purushottam Bhagchandka Academic School is proud to win in two of the events.

This once again proved that no virus has been able to dampen our spirits and enthusiasm. The times are tough but we are tougher! We shall triumph!!

 

 

Purushottam Bhagchandka Academic School received two awards from the Telegraph in individual categories :

1) Award for Courage – Trinayik Saha

and

2) Award for outstanding talent in music – Sayantan Majumdar

 

 

 

 

 

GLOBAL EDU LEADERS FORUM had arranged for GLOBAL AWARDS 2020 – EAST ZONE on 3rd September,2020, in zoom platform, These awards were intended to recognize, not only the wonderful achievements of board toppers, but also the tremendous contribution to their successes which has been made by their inspirational Principal and teachers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Purushottam Bhagchandka Academic School had participated in an interschool Science tech fest organized by AG Church, Tollygunge. There were specialized events based on Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths, Computer Science and some generalized events – both online and offline.

Our students ( classes 9-12) have been appreciated in all categories and have secured positions for the following events:

1. A.D. Aryan of class IX (3rd) – Technographix ( Physics)

2. Saptarshi Basu and Sayan Dolui of class X (2nd) – Techkriti (Computer Science)

3. Hridesh Chakraborty (2nd) – Spotlight (mime acting)

All winners have received certificates of merit and participants have received certificates for participation.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dear Parents/ Guardian,

 

We proudly announce that Purushottam Bhagchandka Academic School has been awarded International Dimension in School Certificate from British Council Division, Kolkata for a period of 2020-23. This has been a flagship project with a global perspective. The school had undertaken seven activities with the help of enthusiastic teachers and students. They had worked closely with countries like Srilanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and Pakistan. The British Council has applauded and appreciated the ‘Lets Breed Peace’ activity undertaken with two schools in Pakistan. These activities and IDS certificate have given the school a global platform, hereby encouraging our faculty and students for exchange programme, cultural interchange with various foreign nations.

We congratulate and acknowledge all the parents, teachers and students for providing their invaluable support to the institution.
